Founded in 1950 by the late Mohammad Anabtawi in Nablus, Palestine, Al Arz Ice Cream started by producing ice to cool water and store food. Over the years, it has grown into the leading name in the frozen treats market in Palestine, known for its highquality ice cream.

In 2007, Al Arz began exporting its products, with Jordan being the first market outside Palestine. This was a significant step in the company's expansion.

Two years later, Al Arz became the first ice cream and dairy producer in Palestine and Jordan to acquire the global food safety certificate HACCP.

Al Arz's commitment to quality is further demonstrated by obtaining the Palestinian Quality Standards (PSI) certificate in 2007 and the FSSC22000 certificate in 2022. These certifications reflect the company's dedication to maintaining high standards in its production processes.
